It will be lovely, I'm sure, and well worth the post-spiffing you'll have to do.

I have to say, I know that Matt is Mister-Go-to-the-Ant-Thou-Sluggard, but I am consistently impressed by the steady thread of pictures of his brothers and dad working by his side to build up Hopestead and its barns. It's neat to see a family homestead being shored up and beautified by family, with the same bloodlines working on it through the generations.

p.s. These pictures, by the way, reflect the current state of my house, but, durn it!, I have no such excuse. And you can't get that dusty feeling off yourself, even after a shower....

But oh, the finished product is SO much better and makes all the dust and dirt worth it! :)Ruthnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9968516.post-48065607047539515342013-03-07T12:20:50.476-05:002013-03-07T12:20:50.476-05:00Ooooo...recessed lighting!! :) What is it that you...Ooooo...recessed lighting!! :) What is it that you put the drywall over?? We have some nasty paneling for a ceiling at Windy Ridge and someday I'm going to have to do something with it! All I can think about after seeing your makeshift scaffolding is the barn raising scene in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers....I don't suppose you had any dance offs during this process? :)Cristinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01242595555985631574noreply@blogger.com
