What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Just kidding! Here he is-the completion of his transformation is when I cut his hair short again.  Posted by Hello

Shame

So where is the photo of him giving you the "pants" to wear. Is he going to wear a slip under his skirt?

First of all-since when is it a shame to be a beardless man? I would love to hear you say that to any of the men in our church-including the pastor.

Second of all-He isn't giving me the "pants" and he most certainly isn't wearing a skirt. I didn't make him shave-he knew I love him clean-shaven and he told me he WANTED to and was excited to because he was excited to because he knew I was excited. I can't understand how you believe if a husband is compassionate to his wife that he becomes a woman. Wasn't Christ gentle and compassionate? Are you calling Christ girlie? Because Matt shaved (for the summer) and because he loves me and wants to please me, he shows me he is more of a man than a man who needs to wear a beard to feel manly.

Frankly, I can see how Matt's facial status would be important to me-since I see him every day and sleep with him every night. I wonder, though, why you are so intrigued by it?

I think that I caught a slight mistake that you made. You wrote the word "transformation," but you were obviously searching for the more accurate word "deformation."

You can put in a word of thanks to me for catching the error when you go back in and update the post.

As far as shame goes:

Wherefore Hanun took David's servants, and shaved off the one half of their beards, and cut off their garments in the middle, even to their buttocks, and sent them away. When they told it unto David, he sent to meet them, because the men were greatly ashamed: and the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.

2 Samuel 10:4-5

These men were ashamed with only half of their beards shaved. Imagine how ashamed they would have been if the whole thing had been shaved. Or how much more so if they had done it to themselves!
It's interesting that their clothes were ripped, also. Maybe Scott's onto something with this pants business.

I think he looks far more handsome without the beard. And it is anything but girlie when a man is willing to do something to please his wife.
