What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

I made these quilted pillows for Gram, Matt's grandmother. The pictures were printed off of my printer onto special printing fabric. The picture on the left is Gram's wedding day picture (the only one she had taken) and the one on the right includes her children at her and her (now deceased) husbands' 50th wedding anniversary. Posted by Picasa

Gram looks thrilled with your gift, and you did a great job on the pillows!

Those are a really neat idea! What a special gift, and something I am sure she didn't already have. :)

That is the challenge with older people...finding something they don't already have two of! She did really like them-but at first she thought her sister (an avid quilter) had made them for her-so she didn't thank ME! I kind of took that as a compliment that my work was good enough to pass for an avid quilter's! :-)
