Here is what the 'old school area' turned out to be. A nice sitting area. Matt still needs to hang the Eric Sloane print in the brick-but I will leave that up to him. I think this is a much more welcome (and less cluttered) sight from the front door.
We were just recently handed down two floor rugs that look really similar to that one! I had to do a double take...
