What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Towering Glass

A dining room table is naked if it doesn't sport a centerpiece, though fresh flowers are not often easy to come by around here. So, I have to get creative. Here I topped a cake server with some colored glasses, then on top of that I added a shallow glass bowl-and inside of THAT, another green colored container (recycled from fall) filled with red cranberries and a white votive. Maybe closer to Christmas I will spoil myself and fill the shallow glass with white roses and pine boughs. (With cranberries floating in the water to set it off...naturally.) Posted by Picasa

How cleaver you are, and the candle will reflect all the colors. Beautiful idea!
