Caught ya!

This fine Earl has evaded my camera too many times to count, always appearing (and flaunting) on the hottest days when I didn't think it prudent to have the camera in the car.

Whenever I pass by my previous sighting spots, I am always on the lookout for him. The other day, the two factors collided. A bird sighting and a camera in the car.

I pulled over (where you are not supposed to) and snapped this picture in the car. JUST IN CASE he would play any tricks. He did. As soon as I stepped from the car, he flew.

But. I still got him. :-)
