What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

The Latter

Techno Geek: One who is very skilled at technological things. A proto-hacker. One who does not consider the computer a labryinth but rather, the yellow brick road.

Techno Dork: One who is incapable of making anything work on any form of new age media. See: Rebecca Newman

Here I thought I was being all techno savvy including a slideshow on my blog and half of you can't even view it! Don't ask me why-I have NO clue. There MAY be a way for you to view the photos, and POSSIBLY view the slideshow, even still-IF you are willing to travel.

Here is the link to my recently acquired Flickr account and the Anniversary Album.

All of photos in the slideshow will be there, one by one. If you glance in the upper righthand corner there is a button called "View As Slideshow". Perhaps if you give that a go, it may work out for you. I hope. If not, at least you can see some of the photographs I took albeit in not so elegant a fashion.

Let me know if works for you now, okay?

And while I am picking up the proverbial pieces...I might add this as well...

The other day Mattie told me that my video post did not appear on his blog reader. I wonder if that may have been the case for others who may not have realized I posted a video and thought I only posted a quote. The post from Tuesday, I am but a Speck, actually included a video clip. Well, clip may not be the right term. It is fairly long-but extremely powerful. Just wanted to let you know, in case you didn't.

Thanks Rebecca for the photoshow!! It did work now!
Your summer is clearly still lingering. Not so here; it's not cold, but autumn is definitely here.
Give my love to your family (I don't comment often, but I do keep an eye on your blog!)

Hi Rebecca!

Thanks for stopping by and giving me some encouragement:-) I am really looking at how I am doing things these days and it is good to hear other's words on this.

As for the photo shoot...I was able to see it:-) Lovely! There is something about the love you show to your family that makes even the not perfect pics look great! I loved them!

Hope you are having a grand day!

Lots of love,
Sommer

These photos are gorgeous! To Matt's great credit, he not only posed for all of these, but he SMILED! Although John's great at springing surprise adventures on us, there's no way in heck I'll ever have a photo shoot with the family, let along the two of us. I'm lucky when I have a picture with the two of us at all!

The girl who took the photos for our wedding was half-heartedly annoyed with John because, as she put it, he "grimaced in every picture." And he did! :)

So, anyway, kudos to Matt. These turned out loverly.
