What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

He slumbers

Is it me, or is one of the sweetest possible moments those that are spent staring into the resting faces of babes? Totally relaxed, totally oblivious, and totally unadulterated of expression.

I love to see my children sleep and wonder what they dream.

I saw him, the Panda, looking so wonderfully cozy all curled up with his hands underneath of his cheek and one foot curled up under the other during rest time the other day, I just had to plop down right in front of him and soak him up.

When all of a sudden, he did this!

And a moment later, it was back to this. A smile played on his lips a few more times and it BASICALLY melted my heart right into a puddle.

I wonder he was dreaming about???

Rebecca,
You're so right...I, too, love watching my little ones when they are asleep. Panda is an absolutely beautiful little boy...whether asleep or awake....I love seeing the pictures of him.
He's probably dreaming of how happy he makes his momma.(especially when she has her camera in hand) :-)

I have a sleeping boy on my lap right now, and I couldn't agree more!(except this boy has an iron jaw clamp on - well you know.)
We are having bed time battles every night, but he does usually wake up happy...

I, too, wonder what goes on in their minds. I can't wait to sit down with Bobby and have a conversation with him when we are both in heaven. He will be able to answer me back and tell me!! How wonderful that will be.

Love this!

I think that God designed children to need extra sleep. We mothers need to feel the rush of consuming love that sometimes isn't overtly felt in the busy jumble of waking hours.
