Little scraps of paper, little notes---I find them EVERYWHERE these days. I just ASSUMED they were Corynns.
So when I found this paper the other day near the piano, I called her over and said "Corynn, you REALLY need to do a better job of picking up your notes and not leaving them on the floor." To which she replied.... "that isn't MINE."
"Well WHO, may I ask wrote it then?!?"
Andrew piped up "I DID!"
That is when stars started floating all about me and I scraped my jaw from the floor.
Since he is only four, I just assumed working on the letters in his name were top priority. Better rethink my strategy.
wow! well good job Andrew :) and won't you have a story to tell his kids someday :)
ReplyDeletehe has superb penmanship, by the way.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome!! Isn't it amazing what they can learn, even what you don't "teach" them!! My 22mth old can say the poem that her older siblings are learning. Yet, I didn't even "teach" it to her!! Got to love homeschooling!!
ReplyDeletefantastic job. Do they watch Little Einsteins?
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDelete*cheers* It is so cute when kids start figuring out things for themselves. My little sister is four and she is just beginning to be able to read and it is to precious
ReplyDeleteHooray for Andrew!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteawesome! good work, Andrew! (Good work, Rebecca!, even if you did not know you were working on this)
ReplyDeleteFun! I was always amazed what the younger children seemed to learn by osmosis. Being in the same environment where learning is going on is just the right thing for younger siblings.
ReplyDeleteNow, who is learning piano?
What a star Andrew is!!!!! That is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to ask if you were still going to do Part 3 of your questions :-) I know it's a busy time of the year, so I'm not expecting it now :-) Just so you know that you have an eager reader here!
Cheers, Wilm in NZ
Wilm~ indeed I am...though it will have to come after the Holidays. It just occurred to me last weekend that I still hadn't posted that third segment. I wondered then, if anyone else had noticed. Glad to know SOMEONE did. ;-)
