JB here goes crazy whenever the garage door opens and he sees the tractor. And he would happily sit on it making "tractor noises" All. Day. Long. In-fact he's standing at my elbow now, pointing and saying "Bbbbrrrpppaaaa!" very excitedly!
Those pictures are the greatest! I don't think I've seen a picture of him before with that huge of a smile. Definitely ALL boy. My Philip is still mesmerized by tractors.
So sweet! think its hilarious that he looks like he's not wearing pants in the first picture! When you gotta get on your tractor - its an urgent business;-)
Also, I know I've asked this before, so this is going to sound a little naggy...thing is,I've lost a few of your posts that I was planning on going back to, like your 30 book reading list. And other encouraging, need-a-reread posts. Because there isn't an "older posts" button I can't get to them! *wipes eyes*
I am in the middle of Africa, with not. one. older Christian woman around (that I know of, and I've looked!) You've been a huge encouragement to me to keep on keeping on. And yes, I am shamelessly playing that card;-)
I also have no idea about blogs (probably why I don't have one) and I have no idea of what it would take to get an "older posts" button. So feel free to ignore my pathetic pleas:-)
Sandy: To tide you over until Rebecca can better answer, try typing reading list or book list into the search box in the upper left hand corner of her blog. (It's the blank box that looks like it has Capital Q ( it's really a magnifying glass I think) on the right hand side. Also, where in Africa are you? My sister lived in Mozambique for a number of years, and if you are anywhere close to there, she may be able to put you in contact with some Godly older Christian women.
Thanks Bonnie! I'll give that a try! We are in Tanzania, in the middle of the bush! My husband has a contract with a sugar company here for the next 3 years. Lots of challenges here! There are about 40people living on the estate. We do meet with the other Christians about twice a week (on Sundays and then on a night of the week) but the other ladies are all in the same stage as me, and the older ladies are mostly still asking questions about the Christian faith (very exciting!) I do have contact with some ladies from our church at home too! Realise I need to actively find ways to be encouraged to keep going, because it is easy to lose your way here. Thankful to the Lord for His grace and provision of encouragement through this blog and others! And that we can get the internet here! We are LITERALLY in the middle of nowhere. So beautiful but so so remote!
Sandy~ I am very computer illiterate so that is one reason why I am taking so long changing the format of this blog. The biggest reason though-is that I will lose my beautiful flowers in the background, and that painting and just about everything that makes this blog (in my opinion) happy. And I will really miss it. so I have been avoiding it. But it IS a problem so I should just get over it! huh?

I love his smiles too, but I can't believe how big he is getting!
