What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

A Garden Clarification

And by "sorely neglected",  I mean:

I feel it necessary to let it be know that only the tippy top layer of the green beans are from our garden (turns out I grew far too few green bean plants after all).  The rest came from a kindly neighbor who might be a wee bit overwhelmed these days.  I threw them in the picture so it would be an accurate picture of the work that I'll be doing this week.  Busy, busy.

So that was the harvest for yesterday, minus a dozen or so cherry tomatoes that somehow jumped into my mouth before I could stop them.  (They are fast little buggers!)

Oh yeah- and let's not forget the lettuce for tonights' salad.  And while I was out I thinned a few beets and weeded a few dandelion greens and threw those in too.

Lovely! I have a garden FULL of GREEN tomatoes! Every day I check and every day they are still green! They need to hurry up already. :)
