What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Tied with a bow

I did manage to survive the two weeks Matt were away, despite the snow storms (and the work that came with them!) and any motivation I may have been able to muster 'once upon a time' deciding to hibernate until further notice.

But I feel much more myself now. *smile

Here is a bit of randomness from the last few days, all tied with a bow.

classy girls have bow tangles.

A neighbor admired Andrew's Christmas neckwarmer and asked me to make a black one for her.  A terrible picture of it, but there you have it.

We aren't learning about the body in science.  This was 'recreation'.  I love the kind of children that homeschooling produces.

I did quite a bit of shoveling last week.

One little hyacinth bulb makes my day so much more beautiful.

Great picture of Matt and the dog. Is there something on the dog? Looks like some sort of hose attached to a vest or something.
Glad you're feeling yourself again. Missed reading you. Lovely blooms--so nice to see on a cold winter's day!

Love all the pictures but that hyacinth gives me hope and makes me smile!

Ha! Well, I can say that while a half-robotic dog would be a whole lot more interesting a story, the tube you see in the picture is just a flashlight that can twist to accomodate different angles. Ruby snuck in between, though with nary a cm excess.

I have a nice window in my room that would be good for some indoor plants...but I don't know what kind are good - I kill just about everything (plant wise) accept for my tomatoe plant "Big Bertha" from last summer. Tell me what I need for a south facing window....african violets?
