Desperate Farmwives: How to open a feedbag

    Thanks so much for this! These kinds of sewn-bag-openings always stump me. On rare occasions I have managed, quite by accident, to find the correct string to pull, but usually, I give up and just cut the top off. I'm very happy to finally have a clearly explained way of doing this. Great job! Now I need a bag to practice on.

  2. Great video! The stitch is called a chain stitch, the chain is why it can be pulled apart so easily. I had to teach my husband how to do this when opening large bags of pet food.

  4. hahahaha!! This cracked me up. Maybe now, thanks to this video, I will know how to open up my potato sacks (no, I don't have a garden :o( for the first time in 16 years of marriage!! I can *never* get it right!
