The very first Hopestead bouquet, gathered just outside my door. Goodbye winter grocery store flowers and hello my very own yard lovelies... how I have missed thee.
I bought a TON of zinnia and cosmo packets, intending to plant them, wild and lush in front of the (very large) porch. But I never got the spot tilled and a raised bed is too much work for right now so I don't have any place to put them. But I must find a spot- even just a small one- because if there is one requisite of summer for me, it is zinnia and cosmo flowers in abundance.
beautiful - can't wait to start planting flowers around our new place
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! That's what I have enjoyed about growing my own flowers. That and giving them away.
ReplyDeleteYou made a beautiful bouquet. I have zinnias that self seeded that are blooming. I can't wait till they mature enough to get me a good bouquet!
