Yesterday whipped me- Mom went from making progress to the ICU to having blood clots on her lungs and being put on a ventilator and life-flighted to a different, larger hospital all in a single day.
It was the darkest of days for me and left me feeling very defeated.
And then the Lord gave this message to me and I needed it SO BAD.
(I've listened to it twice since then too.)
Maybe you need to hear it too?
Thank you to all those who have commented here and who are praying on my Mom's behalf. Your comments and prayers mean so much to me...I cannot thank you enough.
The Lord IS our only hope. Last September my husband was right where your mom is now. I could not be with him. It is almost criminal. I was on my face in prayer for the entire month. I knew it might be God's will to take him, but miraculously he turned for the better. I am so grateful the Lord gave us more time together. I was determined that no matter what happened I would continue to honor and worship the Lord for who he is. "Though you slay me, yet will I trust you".
ReplyDeleteEven if things don't go the way I want them to. I pray for emotional strength for you. I know this is so hard. Keep holding on, knowing that the Lord is completely in charge. Nothing is going to happen to which he doesn't give his permission. "When I am weak, then I am strong. Your power is made perfect in my weakness." I pray for a turn for the better for your Mom.
Praying for your mom, we can only put our HOPE in the Lord.
