What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

See that?

See that bright splotch here and there? That is called sunshine. Since having the car and seeing sunshine have RARELY mixed since we moved here...it was TRUE CELEBRATION to have my car to myself while Matt drove the truck to work. Freedom! Liberation! Hurrah! And did we make good use of it or WHAT??? We headed out yesterday morning-and were so in the groove-we didn't come home until after dusk! Posted by Picasa

Glad you had such a wonderful sunny-day adventure. And the little one is 'all tuckered out,' when this was taken. :-)

You are one of the most precious Moms I've ever come across. Your children don't fully appreciate how wonderful you are, now. {Why should they? They think all children are as lucky as they.} But the day will come, when they will know, just exactly _how_ blessed they were, with you for a Mommy.

And to top it off, _you_ are having a wonderful time too! What a lovely way to live life. I'm so happy for you!!

Hugs,
'MN'

Hooray for sunshine!

I noticed your canning list on your sidebar. You have put up so many wonderful things this year! My daughter and i are doing to plant a garden this year and do more canning than we usually do. I would love to can all of the veggies we need for the whole year! I wonder if that is just too much or what? We shall see...

MN~Believe it or not, this picture was taken as we headed out in the morning! Andrew was just ready for his morning nap when we left, which he then took in the car.

What you wrote was a HUGE compliment and encouragement. But at the same time, I must say, I fall short in so many ways that often I see the 'bad' and can only pray that they FORGIVE me!

Kelli~this is one thing that has been on my mind for a while so this is one thing that I DON'T take advantage of. Although I must say, I look forward to the day that we have a VAN! :-)

Randi~it is a great goal and I think you should go for it. With TWO people working at it, it will go by much faster and be less tedious anyway-and it is a wonderful feeling to enjoy the fruits of your labor in the colder months!
