What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

It's a Marshmellow World

an inch an hour until midnight, then 6-12 more tomorrow.

Then another winter weather storm warning for Sunday.

But the warm indoors and table full of envelopes, photos, stamps and cards beckons me. I *WILL* get done the Christmas cards.

BEFORE the New Year!

I HOPE.

Lovely photos!

Just wanted to pop in and let you know that I am praying for you today!! You inspire me to be a better wife and mother, to work hard and to live fully. Thank you!

What a great family picture! Don't even worry about those cards. I'm sure no one really expects them since you just had a baby.
One year, I thought I was so good because I got mine done realllly early.
So early that I lost them.
So I didn't send them out.
And the next year, I found them--and didn't have to write any out, LOL!

I just finished all our Christmas cards a couple days ago. No matter how simple we try to make them, they always seem to take a long time. :) Your family picture is precious, what a sweet family!

Your new little one is adorable!

The ice on the berries look so lovely! God created such beautiful and intricate things - and we get to enjoy them! :D

God Bless,

I love the picture, but I have a question. Who is Abby? Did someone else take the picture for you, or are you calling your letting one Abby?

And if it makes you feel better, my cards went in the mail on Thursday. And I didn't just have a baby. So be at peace, we will love receiving it even in January!!!

I am there too. I am hoping to get mine done this weekend. I just love your Christmas picture. I can never get my hubby to take one. So it is always just the kids.

Mrs. Bibby~ Abby is a friend of mine from church. I brought my camera along to church last Sunday and asked if she would snap the photo for me since I couldn't find my little remote jobber for my camera. Thankfully, she'd bend over backwards for anyone and didn't mind a bit. I swear, the thought of me sending out a card without a photo seems indecent!

Hey, I just received your Christmas card. Thanks so much. I really love that picture. Unfortunately, you may not get ours for a while. I sent it to the wrong address. Please let me know if you don't get it by New Year's. Have a Blessed Christmas.

I certainly will not bend over backwards for anyone. I will, however, climb onto a chair and try not to break your camera as I click-click-click-click-click. How many did I accidentally take again? :)

You polished it up so nicely. We got your card, and it's beautiful.

I love these icy berries, too.

I LOVE this picture!! SO wonderful!! I have gotten so far as to print my letter, and um..that's as far as it has gone. Hopefully after tomorrow's Christmas program I will have a little time to devote to getting these done!!

Rebecca, I'll just say, "Ditto!" on the I love the family portrait. The angle makes it so unique, but I wouldn't expect anything less coming from you, the camera guru! Merry Christmas!
