Gratitude Monday

Oh, yes, there are many....

77: A good spit-dousing from a teething babe

78: six days straight of wearing same birthday dress. (Less laundry too!)

79: Labor day~ and thanking God my husband is still working

80: A God who hears, comfort for those who aren't

81: Vibrant Opa~another visit

82: A moment just for them, I wasn't invited

83: A boy, who still gets the idea to curl up with his Mama-and hold her hand

84: A Nanny Moment, seeing my mom enjoy my child

85: Weak Grandma-in-love who insists upon making us lunch whenever we visit.

86: And always has desserts

87: And gives second helpings of whipping cream

88: An egg twice the size.... the SUMO egg

89: A nose, and lips, and hair SHARED

90: Eyes like her Papa

91: A chicken turned falcon. Pinecone who rests on my hand without flying away. I love her.

93: A handful of days left before Mama and children gather round the school table.

94: NOT schooling, but still learning that:

~ Two week old Alpaca's weigh 18 pounds
~ They don't have hooves, but toenails
~ How to turn sheep wool into yarn or fleece
~ Teasing wool can be pretty fun
~ Loom Weaving is pretty amazing
~ Pig chasing can get out of hand
~ Certain poisonous spiders can kill you in 15 minutes flat

Little treasures, ever sought, often discovered, always enjoyed.

  2. oh yes- was there more than one yolk in the giant egg? think the most we ever got was 3, and that might've been a duck egg.
Did you know that when a duck lays its egg in oh, say a small swimming pool, they get soft. Esp. if its been in there for (ahem) over a week? We found that out growing up....
