What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Radio FLYER

The girlie is finally walking more than crawling now, but even with all her practice indoors, the rough terrain of outside is frustrating for her. Which stinks (for her) because any free moments of sunny days we have are spent outside. In comes Radio Flyer walker, an extraordinary gift back when people thought we were only having one child (HA!) that keeps on giving to each child we have.

She loves it for roaming about (even in grass) and I love it for not having to carry her everywhere.

It has found a new use recently, one that I hadn't exactly anticipated. When said girlie gets TIRED of walking, an older brother or sister plop her inside of it and takes her for a ride...

FULL THROTTLE. And when I say FULL THROTTLE, that is precisely what I mean.

Running as fast as their legs can carry them, panting along driveway, in grass, whatever, with their bouncy cargo laughing away.

I would have been petrified of going that fast as a baby, methinks. In fact, I am a wee bit petrified of watching it happen as a grown up.

Whoever came up with the name Radio Flyer hit the nail right on the head.

Because BOY, can she fly!

Thats the same with my little monkeys and the wagon.... Fortunately its cumbersome enough that Full Throttle isn't very easy.
Love the chickens scattering!

Muffins only been walking about a month.

I couldn't help but chuckle along with Miss Adele! Looks like a blast! My Emma loves her wagon, too, and has her big brother wrapped around her finger. She walks over to it, calls "Bubba!" and he comes running to plop her in. She'll sit and play awhile and then call "Bubba!" and he'll run back over and pull her around. It's so sweet to see my children enjoying one another and bonding. :)

Just to look at the expression on that little girlie's face in Pic 1 & Pic 2, and I can clearly see that she's having the time of her life.

HORRAY for nice weather and playing outdoors!!!!!!!

Haha I love it! She looks like she is very much enjoying being pushed by her siblings. And the chicken running around makes me smile. We got turkeys this year and I cant wait to have them out! We had to give out chickens to my in-laws to make way for the turkeys :( I miss them (as wierd as that is!) But it means were expanding the coup for more birds :) and well have them again soon. Love your little girls apron.
