We discovered this little guy in the feed bin yesterday....
...along with his three brothers.
And now, I am afraid, I have to head to the store to replace an almost brand-new bag of kitty food.
In other news, this week has been pretty much the longest week in history for me. Matt has been half way across the globe (er, at least, country!) in CA since Sunday morning and I have been feeling it ever since....well....Sunday afternoon. ;-) The days were brutally hot and the nights were brutally lonely.
He will be home about midnight, if all goes according to plan. And he might just be greeted with a trail of candles. (And probably a totally zonked out wife, since I haven't been sleeping pretty much all week! ha!)
It will be good to be whole again.
Aww..they are So Cute!!! I don't want to know what you did with them..I've a feeling a certain trapper may have been called since Matt was away..Heres to hoping not! :)
ReplyDeleteplease take care in getting rid them. Their scat can be very dangerous to humans.
ReplyDeleteNo worries~ they left in their good old time and no trappers were needed! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI don't doubt they will be back. I sure hope Matt fixes that grain bin and FAST.
I hate to tell you my dear, but you will probably need dispatch them permanently. Once they've found you, they will pillage and plunder and steal your chickens.
ReplyDeleteThis is a known for sure and certain fact, experienced by us and the neighbors.
I know Bonnie~ I know. We have a neigborhood trapper who is on red-alert. ;-)
ReplyDelete(But I won't lie- I TOTALLY considering keeping one as a pet.)
ReplyDeleteB. had one as a pet for awhile growing up. It slept with him. When his dad would get home from work it would come flying across the room, climb to his shoulder, curl up and "pur."
