What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Foto Friday: Feet Edition

Little Feet
Big Feet

Feet Feet Feet

How many, many feet you meet.

Last week's Foto Challenge was FEET. I am *REALLY* hoping we tried to be artistic with this one, because, well, let's just say: I stayed away from the field of podiatry for a reason. ;-)

Here are my contributions:

This one makes me happy it is so "Mattie and I". That is how we have our feet every night when we are about to fall asleep. ONE of us has the other's achilles tendon in between our first two toes. I realize that this fact makes us weird and that blogging about it is revealing to the world our weirdness. But I say "WEIRDNESS PREVAIL!" (We also share a toothbrush. HA!)

I put Adele in a laundry basket and as soon as I did, I regretted never doing that to her as a newborn. Mental note: use laundry baskets for newborn photos.

I couldn't believe a one year old would lay down and relax in it, but relax she did.

And a funny one:

As with all funny ones~ this has a story. Once upon a time, I drew faces on Matt's toes while he was talking on the phone. Corynn was about 3. She remembers this to this DAY and asks for us to draw faces on her feet all the time. She was so thrilled to get faces on her toes. And then, of course, little brother wanted some too: though he asked specifically for ANIMAL faces.

Anyone take any perdy pictures of tootsies this week? If so, link up!

In order to participate in these Foto Friday challenges, you must take a photo (or several) pertaining to the challenge WITHIN the challenge week and post it to your blog (and when you do, please link back to this blog {you may use the button if you like} so that perhaps we can get lots of participants! Because, you know, the more the merrier!) Then simply link to your Foto Friday post with Mr. McLinky here so that we all can visit you and compare notes...

Everyone is welcome to participate, no need to be professional. Some challenges are harder than others but the idea, whether easy or more difficult, is to capture to subject in a way that extends yourself, widens your limits and challenges your capabilities (at whatever level they may be). Don't be content to just snap a picture~create a glimpse of beauty!

This week's Foto Friday challenge is following along the same lines as this week's, Another body part:

EYES!

You know I LOVE eyes! ;-)

So come back! Same time, same place. Be here or be square. ;-)

Oh, Rebecca, I had to laugh when I saw the quote from the FOOT BOOK, I read that so many times to the kids when they were little that I could almost recite it from memory.

I love the kiss in the headlights picture. (I know a "foot-popping kiss when I see one.) It just reminded me of a scene that you would see in a good "Chick Flick". ;D

You were much more creative with your feet fotos than I was. All of these photos are wonderful (as always!)

I LOVE that first picture! Love it! (mental note- metallic ballet flats look good on big feet- hooray!)
And the toe people crack me up- babies feet- who doesn't love?
Are you serious? You share a tooth brush?
You know I love ya, but that is just gross....

I love the baby feet.. Oh how I miss baby feet but I do love the "pitter patter" of elephant feet we have stomping through our house!

I love the snuggly feet shot of you and Matt! It caused me to laugh cause I can't stand having anyone messing with my feet at night! I keep them on the opposite side of the bed but sharing a toothbrush... Good for you! We don't share intentionally all the time but its not uncommon to find out we've used each others toothbrush or only take one on a trip! hee hee...

WOW! I looked at your pics and decided I'm not much of a photographer.. especially not this past week. I promise to do better next week.
Your pictures are superb as usual.. but then, that's what you are here to do.. help us become at least semi-superb. This is a great challenge for you.. hahaha.. good luck.

GREAT pics - as usual! :-)
Love the 2 of you and your hubby and LOVE the one of the faces drawn on toes. I showed Eli, my 4-year-old - he liked it a lot and thought they were funny.

The photo of you two dancing is fabulous. I think it's awesome that you two can sleep like that; I'm too light of a sleeper to sleep that close to hubby...

The story and picture of the faces on the toes is precious.

Oh Rebecca - PLEASE forgive me. With Brian having this week off, I TOTALLY forgot about Foto Friday! I *will* do the next one, God willing. :D

AS for your photos - I LOVE THEM!! I especially love that first one (you should TOTALLY frame it! or put it on greeting cards!). As for the second one, because of the meaning to you, you need to frame it. I also love looking at pictures hanging up in my home that remind me of the love I have with Brian. And when the kids see it, it reinforces to them the love their Daddy and Mommy have for each other.

WONDERFUL photos Rebecca!
