What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Foto Friday

It is Friday! And this Friday, I happen to have two birthday children awaiting gifts that are still in progress, a cake that is baking and needs to be very strategically decorated and pronto, a house that needs to be visited, pizza dough to make, and oh yeah~ a yard sale to get ready for!

So I will make this brief.

A picture that reminds you of childhood~or maybe just your favorite for the week. Share them now!

I decided against highlighting favorites from the previous week from now on. Mainly, because it takes twice as long to get these posts up by doing so, but also partly because I fear the bit of competition (though it wasn't intended to become competition) has scared people off from participating. It isn't about competing with one another~ never has been and never will be. Rather, Foto Friday is about trying to push to better ourselves and our photography, regardless of skill level, and share glimpses of our progress.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's contributions!

And if you want to participate NEXT week~ you can share your favorite photo of the week OR push yourself with the challenge of capturing SOMEONE YOU LOVE. I'll enjoy my glimpse either way!

Answered you back at my place, and is this a social house visit, or a we want to live here house visit? (Not trying to start any rumors on you moving) And just so you know, since Matt has his own business now and all and could move where ever, there is the darlingest 3 1/2 homestead for sale practically around the corner from us. Reasonably priced, barn, chicken coops, attic.... (Power lines, railroad tracks within spitting distance, development behind it.) So, if you all feel like heading "out west" : D

While I'm thinking about it, since we have half of each others brain, you're not planning on making Judah wooden farm animals for his birthday... are you?
