What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Fallish

The shift is beginning to happen.  I can feel it in the coolness that rushes us and our short sleeves inside after supper.  The picking of potatoes instead of weeds.  The digging up and curing of (a first batch of) onions, brown and gold and red- the earthy colors of fall. The lure of the baking scented candles.  The sudden rush of wood splitting and the questions of "will there be enough?"  The yarn that beckons.  The pumpkins on the vine beginning to grow their orange freckles.

It is coming,  Fall.

And I am not ready.

Thanks Amy. I fixed it. My computer took such a loooooooong time to upload the pictures that I had to hit "publish" and then leave for a meeting. Whoops.

And why am I not ready for fall? Because I HATE the cold and with beautiful Fall comes the not so distant coooooollllllllllllllddddd.

Hello Rebecca! (And all of Bonnie's friends that may read this). You may already know (and if so, disregard this), but Bonnie was being induced last night. I don't know anything more, just wanted to put it up here so we can all be praying for her and the little guy!

Thank you Elisha~ I am! I can't wait, can't WAIT to hear!

hmm I don't feel fall coming.. =[

yep, it's still in the 100s here. Enjoy fall for me though.

And if it's too cold for you there you could move here to Phoenix Az. You can spend the entire winter in shorts and t-shirts..

=D

LOVE all the pictures! And I'm ready for cooler, more fall-like temps. Autumn is my favorite time of the year. Not so excited about winter to follow but without it there wouldn't be another spring to look forward to. LOL

I did something really cool the last couple days. I told Scott that I wished we still lived close because I knew that you'd have had so much fun joining me. You'll have to wait to find out what it is until I get a letter out to you. Don't you just hate suspense? :P

(((Hugs))) and prayers from the North Country.

Love your blog! Your pictures are beautiful!! Fall is almost here and I welcome it with open arms. It is my favorite season. Although I don't welcome how quickly the days, weeks, & months pass us by. The grown ups were right when I was a child, time DOES go by fast when you are older. Have a great day! Vida

P.S. Please come visit my blog when you get a chance~
