What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

This is the living room. The same carpet extends all throughtout the house. To the right, just outside of the photo, is a bay window. I wasn't able to fit the window, the spindles AND the exposed beams into the shot so I had to pick and choose. Posted by Picasa

This room reminds me so much of you, with the dark spindle stairwell and the burgundy carpet. You watch, you'll have the prettiest home of all of us "family" :)

Pish posh. Every home is made beautiful by the outworking of your own individual style. No home is more beautiful than another if you put your own style into making it YOURS.

I like the dark carpet in the living room-but really, it IS overwhelming in the ENTIRE HOUSE. You will see when you come visit. Notice I said WHEN not IF. ;-)
