What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Aren't I Perdy?

Corynn and Andrew got the brilliant idea (well, likely Corynn did and Andrew accomodated her because he does that) to draw a portrait of me (and Matt) on our wedding day.

I must say, the resemblance is quite astonishing!

This is Corynn's:

I never realized how chubby my arms were~ I think I ought to work on that. I think I must have had a severe case of nerve-induced hand inflammation. My, was that a jittery day.

But let me tell you~ I would take a ring THAT size any 'ol day.

Come to think of it~ I would take a ring ANY size any 'ol day. I think it must have to be YEARS since I was last gifted jewelry. Yes, most assuredly-years. The last time I got jewelry was three years ago. My heart necklace. (but who's keeping track?)

"Matt?" as I thump microphone "This thing on?"

"You there?"

This is Andrew's :

I am LOVING how thin I was back then (goes to show you what having three babies does to you every other year you are married) but is it me or does it look like Matt is feeling like he is making a B.I.G. mistake?! I mean, he is not looking to happy over there.

And by the way~ I am not THAT much taller than he is. Just so you know.

And also~ that thing between his legs? It's a TIE.

Get your mind out of the gutter, people!

Yes, the look on Matt's face in Andrew's drawing made me laugh out loud. He looks a little put upon, I think. haha
