What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

A Cowboy Once Again

Cowboy Andy is back in the saddle.

er.

Well, not really IN the saddle.

But he is all cowboy once again thanks to a REAL cowboy shirt from Auntie Beth, a $3.00 wannabe hat and a pair of boots sent all the way from Alaska.

No matter that they are size 3 and he wears size 11/12.

No matter that the toes actually bend UP when he goes up stairs and such.

He refused to put anything else on (that's my boy!) and I could HARDLY say no to him since he has been waiting so long for boots.

But I feared for his life as he ran in them.

So, I started saving up my church-cleaning money and went and bought shoes (brace yourselves) FULL price for once in my life. NO $3.00 marked down, end of the year clearance Target shoes THIS time.

He got his new boots this past week and I secretly grabbed the size 3's, washed em up and tucked them aside for when THIS new pair wears out or when he fits into size 3...which ever comes first.

I'm so glad to see Andrew in Samuel's shirt! Even though he wore it too, I never got any pictures of him in it and anyhow it is far more suited to Andrew and his cowboyness :)
