What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Sick day

In the wee dark morning hours I woke up with a bug. The biting, stomach-lurching, painful cringing in my stomach, always-know-the-nearest-route-to-the-toilet kind of bug.

I thought it would pass. It didn't.

I did chores and barely made it through.

Still, I figured if I just gave it time I would be fine.

It was when I started doing weird things, like putting a size 5 diaper on a 7 week old baby that I knew I better call a sickday. Even HE looks confused.

No telling what I might have taught the children during schooling.

I hope you get to feeling better real soon. Smooch looks like he'll have plenty of diaper to "fill up"!

By the way, you made a very bright spot in my day when I collected the mail.

Take care.

You, are freaking me out. Guess what I did when we got home from our drive? Hung out with the toilet. the drive was nice and romantic right up until the pukesies hit.
And everyone else including J. has colds. I had to sleep on the sitting on the couch with him last night.

It only seems to last about 24 hours FYI, and Judah looks hilarious.
Feel better my dear!

...yuck! I've been battling a cold...I got NOTHING done...way to go on the chores finished and ACTUALLY diapering the baby! ;)
Oh and the pic of my mom and I has a cool story behind it. Right after Amos and I got married, he borrowed ALL of my parents photo albums and scanned MOST of the pictures in! YES!!!! Like 22 years of pics...albeit my parents are not much of photographers (QUANTITY WISE ;) ) but it was like maybe 5 old photo albums worth! UNBELIEVABLE, huh?!!! *blush* At the time, I was irritated because it took alot of time and just I don't know...DUH. And dh just calming kept doing it and said, "You'll want them some day." and BOY, WAS HE right!!! So, I am SO blessed to have tons of childhood photos. My dad actually was a good photographer and took a lot of good shots with his old 35mm like time lapse everything but they as they got more kiddos ;) and busier with life, he didn't take as many. He snapped that shot on my blog. The lighting is so good! :) Anyhoo...I am so sorry you don't have any pics! :( We'll make it up with our children, right?! They will have 500 scrapbooks & photo albums to take with them when they marry, right? LOL! ;)

Blessings, Rebecca!
ps - I stole your October poem for my facebook status today...sorry I forgot to ask! :( :P
