What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Don't forget

The night when we were sitting down for dinner at the table and I asked Corynn if she had put her clothes away before sitting down~and when she affirmed that it was done I said "Oh good." Normal, everyday moment. But then Andrew says "Mama, I wuwwy wike it when you say "Oh, good!" (imitates my pitch and intonations) I dink dat is nice. And I dink your voice is wuwwy wuwwy nice too." (****heart melts into a puddle****)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That Adele' has taken to calling me Mama Newman and will call from other rooms "Mama Newman! Mama Newman!" when she wants me to come. I wonder if I will ever meet her OTHER Mama?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

That Judahbear could make tractor sounds before he could even walk. And climb pianos. (Don't ask.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Corynn helping herself to pie at the church supper, all while matter-of-factly stating to another little friend "You can't have a hearty supper without pie!" (***That's my girl!***)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

What it feels like to wake up in the morning and be startled to find these bright eyes quietly staring at you:

Miss R. calls us "Muh-derhl" and "Fad-erhl" when she wants a laugh. She called me Mary all Sunday.

My J. is a pro at tractor noises too!

Cute little bits, all of them!

Awww...memories! I recently had a conversation about the new baby drinking milk from "my chest" with Ella. She then preceded to point and say, "cheese" and "juice" for each respective one! ;) LOL! Life would be sooo dull without sweet children...way cleaner but dull! ;)

Wow, I was trying to pick a favorite from that list, but I don't think I can. Lovely, each one. (Although that pie one really strikes a chord with me... or maybe it's just my sweet tooth. ;)

Funny, I was just in that same state of mind too - thankful and reminiscent - last night and I posted a list myself.

Hope things are going well in your new home.
God's peace to you and your family tonight Rebecca. ((hugs))

I overheard that pie comment, too, and immediately guffawed...in the middle of the room, with no one next to me. I guess people are used to that because no one even glanced my way.

The great part is that inwardly, I also thought, "That's my girl!" Even though she's not mine, the sentiment remains. We hearty-supper-lovers need to band together!
