What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Here is the whole ensemble. I got the smocked dress on clearance (with the hat) after Easter last year for $4.25 and I got the "petticoat" at a rummage sale for a quarter. It matched PERFECTLY! Posted by Hello

Her little flower face is perfectly perfect! (And the price of that beautiful ensemble is one reason why I should go bargain-hunting at stores instead of sitting at home and eating candy.) I love the classic style of the dress--no silly, fleeting fads--it is and always will be a gorgeous dress. (Until we reach the space age, of course, and clothing is made out of a silvery, as yet undiscovered substance.)

Beautiful pictures of a beautiful girl in a beautiful dress. Thanks for sharing them!
