What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Maybe its the Daffodils

I bought this sweater vest at a craft show for Corynn. I fell in love with the bright yellow color, but it was the owls that really did me in.

Since I don't yet know how to knit, I did not feel guilty about purchasing it, except for the fact that I bought it for less than the yarn alone probably cost.

It seems this spring, I am really drawn to and inspired by the color yellow.

Maybe it's the daffodils...but soon, very soon...my sewing machine will stop humming and I'll be able to share some of the sewing projects that have been keeping me busy.

Incidentally, they all share in one characteristic.

Yellow.

OOOOOhhhh! I can't wait to see!!!!
I'm always inspired by your projects.
Against your suggestion, I started with the livingroom. I wonder where I got the notion that I am even remotely a decent housekeeper.
I'm going to attempt before and after photos, they may keep me motivated.
Corynn looks lovely as usual, yellow is my most favorite color!

I Love yellow too. It's such a happy sunshiny colour! Corryn's beautiful vest reminds me of a yellow baby cardigan with a little owl button, my brother and I both wore as babies! The cardigan is long gone, but the owl button still lives in our button box, which gets used more for homeschool maths than craft! LOL

I don't know how you have time to sew, but I guess I did it with three. Now when I have the three grands, I just play! Have fun with your projects. Can't wait to see them.

Maybe you get your love for yellow from your mom. She like it too.
