What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Twin Session, Revealed

These are TECHNICALLY twins, but little Miss and little Mister really couldn't be any different. One is nearly TWICE the size as the other!

They are TECHNICALLY 5 week old babies, but at only a bit over 8lbs and nearly 5lbs, they seemed an awful lot like newborns to me. (I guess the fact that my babies come OUT at nearly 9 pounds has something to do with it.)

So here are a few of my favorites from my not quite TECHNICALLY newborn, TECHNICALLY twin photo session.

I love how little James is sporting such a contented smile in this one:

And a few of the Mama: because you know how I feel about Mama's getting in the pictures too.

This is the mother of nine children. Not only that, this is her SECOND set of twins.

TRY not to hate her. :-)

Finally~ this is probably my most favorite shot of the session but I just can't decide which I like better. In color, or in two-tone. Which is your favorite?

What lovely pictures. One is the size of our boy when he was newborn and the other looks like a preemie :)

I love the bottom ones, I'd say that black and white would be my fave, except that the baby's faces have such perfect color in the last one, so that's my favorite :D

good job!!

Gorgeous pictures!! I like the two-tone at the end best. I especially like the one of them in the basket.

These are great! You did a very good job. I like the color one better. It's more natural.

I like the color one better. I like the golden color of her hair.
I've always thought I would love to have twins, but maybe it's only the idea of it I like because when I think of the reality of the demands just ONE newborn can make on you in a day I can't imagine the constant demands of two. A mother of twins must have extra grace on her. But this mother sure does look lovely.

They are lovely and all beautiful..The one I like best for the "feeling of mother and baby bonding" is the one 3rd to last, where Mom and Baby are just looking, studying each other. There is so much love in Mama's face! But, there is only the one twin in it, so maybe it shouldn't be my favorite!

Those are wonderful! I think I like the color better, but they are both beautiful.

Wow! Those are amazing! I love the one in the basket! :) And, the last one...usually I am a sucker for black-and-white, but I actually like the color version better! :)

I like the color one. The brownish hair gives such an nice contrast to the black dress and white skin. Great job. What a busy momma.

What AWESOME pics, Rebecca! I love all of them...of the last two, I think the two tone jumps out and me the most but the full color is gorgeous also! :)

I love your pictures. I am a mother of 8 and no. 6 & 7 are twins. Only one set for me. They are 19 year old girls and a joy to have around. May the Lord bless you and give you the grace you need - and the older children to help.
