What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Blossoms, Mine : May 26

The very first Hopestead bouquet, gathered just outside my door.  Goodbye winter grocery store flowers and hello my very own yard lovelies... how I have missed thee.

Beautiful! That's what I have enjoyed about growing my own flowers. That and giving them away.

You made a beautiful bouquet. I have zinnias that self seeded that are blooming. I can't wait till they mature enough to get me a good bouquet!

I bought a TON of zinnia and cosmo packets, intending to plant them, wild and lush in front of the (very large) porch. But I never got the spot tilled and a raised bed is too much work for right now so I don't have any place to put them. But I must find a spot- even just a small one- because if there is one requisite of summer for me, it is zinnia and cosmo flowers in abundance.
