What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Out to dry

When I designed a multi-level clothesline those four years ago, I had another little blondie in mind.

It does my heart good to have another little helper join in these days.

Feeling just a little bit reminiscent today.....

...and a tad bit emotional at the goodness of my life.

Love it!
I never managed to figure out how to give our line your two-tier feature as our posts are steel, but I let one line sag way down so the kiddos can at least reach the middle. They love to assist and we're now on the third two-year-old playing the "who's clothing is this?" game.

I'm impressed that you haven't tripped over the low line!

One of the specific features that I HAD to have when we moved 4.5 years ago was a clothesline without any HOA interference. I love it and would never, ever want to do without an outdoor line again.

I am feeling the same way these days. I think this time of year, with the days shortening and the temps. cooling, causes me to become more introspective and reflective.

we have the exact same set up and all the kids help me out, 4 sets of extra hands makes laundry go much faster.

I took a memory of Pip helping me hang just last week!

The physical similarities between your two girlies probably doesn't lessen the bittersweet response to time passing.
