What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Let them Eat...

Every year a white cake with peanut butter frosting is requested, just like the year before and the one before that. Makes it easy for me, I guess...except that the decorating (of which I am no good) seems to follow suit every year. THIS year, though, came with an addition of BUCK EYES! (Thanks, Abby!) Matt plucked the center buckeye off before I have even sliced the cake, so I guess I will have to be replacing it!

I am happy to report Andrew no longer has his tummy problems with Peanut Butter-so he inhaled his piece, plump with peanut butter pleasure.

So did his father.

Happy birthday to you-and your funny grin. Silly boy...of 31 years. ;-)

Rebecca, that is just GORGEOUS! You could sell those.

Will you put the recipe and icing instructions on the recipe blog?

Congratulations on a meal--and table--beautifully done.

That cake looks delicious. Unfortunately, my daughter is severely allergic to peanut butter, so we can't even have it in the house. That looks scrumptious!!!!

That looks delectable! If it weren't for the sorry-looking topper, I'd call it perfect. (WHO delayed the mailing of those until the poor little things shrunk in their chocolate skins?!?)
