What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

When we lived in Iowa, there was a brand new CEC within an hour of our home. We would arrive right as they opened, and like you, had the place to ourselves. We usually did this on days when my hubby was making calls on the sick or shut-in members of our congregation. You would think he would drop us off and then go make his calls...wrong. He loves video games probably more than our kiddos, so he enjoys it just as much! We never thought of packing a lunch, though...great money-saving tip! Now, the nearest CEC is over 4 hours away, and it is a dirty, old, and yucky one. When we leave I feel like I need to give the entire family showers in bleach water, so, needless to say we don't go often.

Glad you had a great time!
