What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

A Friendly Reminder:

How is everyone doing on their Foto Challenge of capturing the wind??

Anyone, anyone?

It's proving harder than I thought and my one idea involved my husband who has now gone out of town. Hopefully he will be back before Friday~but just in case, methinks I need a back up plan.

Here's hoping.........

(In the meantime, I am skipping town myself today and playing hookie from AM school to go pumpkin scouting somewhere OTHER than my garden.)

You know what they say: when Papa is away, the kiddies will play!

Oh, that sounds fun! Its gray and gloomy here, pumpkin scouting would be a fine thing.

Yes, I have 2 pictures, but I'm hoping for another, just 'cuz.

I have a few ideas brewing but haven't again had a lot of chance to stop and take 'em...maybe tomorrow!

Blessings, Rebecca!

The category was wind, right? I was able to get a couple before the wind stopped. Now it is sooooo still outside and chilly! It was 30 degrees at 6:30 a.m. and at 7:45 a.m. it is now 26 degrees and dropping. It should bottom out in the next hour or so... then start to rise again today. Hoping to see 40 but they were calling for snow, at least a dusting.

Have a great day with the pumpkins!

You know how I'm always saying that I swear our house is located in the middle of a wind-tunnel. Orangeblossom and I thought this assignment would be a cinch, but the air hasn't stirred during the day at all this week. I think it waits to blow only after dark just to thwart our picture taking efforts. :D

oh, this is GREAT! I am loving this!

For those of you who are having a hard time "finding" wind~why don't you try and create your own? (and Bonnie~the more pictures the merrier. I am finding it so much fun that one picture hardly does it justice.

You could beg and plead for someone to "blow really hard when I say now" (for smaller things) or enlist the help of a box/rotating fan.

I am going to resort to these measures myself I think.
