What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Now this is just about as subtle a clue as the one I gave you and Leah! HURRAH! OH, HURRAH!

We are so very happy and rejoice that God has given life again! Now we MUST come down for the Manwaring reunion this weekend in hopes of squeezing in a time to see you FOUR.

When you had a blogging pause a little bit back, I wondered if you were pregnant, but then no news appeared. But now it's here!

(And however did you manage the realistic belly? Quite impressive.)

Rebecca,
When are you due? I am so very happy for you! The joy of new life always brings a smile to my face even in the midst of my loss. I know it won't be too long before I myself will be blessed with another little life. So until then I am rejoicing with you!
Blessings

Rebecca,

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! What wonderful news!!! I was hoping to hear that you were expecting again!

I'm going to have to wait at least one more month. :( My cycle started late last night. To be honest, I'm having a very hard time knowing I'm not pregnant yet.

But don't let that spoil your excitement and joy! And I won't either!

Abby- a little pillow does the trick beautifully! We would love to see you come down-this weekend is Nate's wedding so we will be quite busy-but seeing you on Sunday would be wonderful. No pressure.... ;-)

Leah-Wow. I took a test without even being late and you got your period all ready? I figured it would be a week or two before either of us knew, but because of some things that were happening I did it anyway. Good thing is was positive-I have only ONE left!

I know nothing I say is going to make you feel better. I know it from experience...because it can't. You feeling better has to come from inside of you and sharing your feelings with God-leaning on Him for comfort, not on my measley words.

I will say this though-The Lord has a great plan for you. There is a REASON why He is waiting...a WONDERFUL reason, that you can't know yet. It will all be revealed in His time and when it is, you will say "Thank you Lord for your omnipotence and omniscience! You Oh Lord are Sovereign!"

Please don't be angry with God, like you spoke about. God's plan is perfect and His ways must be our ways. It is terribly hard-TERRIBLY hard, wanting something so badly and not getting it (or in my case: being afraid that something was wrong and we couldn't ever get it!). The only strength comes from the Lord. The only comfort from Him alone. And you will find: when it IS time for you to be blessed again, that it will be even MORE miraculous and awe inspiring. I can tell you that from experience too. Chin up, dear friend. The Lord is good and faithful to all His promises!

I would like to clarify. I NEVER said I was angry with God. I did say I was angry, hurt, disappointed, sad, etc. I also said that I KNOW God has a perfect plan. As much as I want to be pregnant now, I don't want it if it is not God's perfect will.

You being pregnant now, as hard as it is for me, does give me hope that it will happen for us in God's perfect time.

Oh, by the way, according to my calculations, you are due on April 19, 2006 just 5 days before my birthday! ;)

Now wouldn't it be something if I got pregnant this cycle and was due right around your birthday! I would be due about May 16, 2006 the day after your birthday!

Leah-I emailed you privately. I figured no sense in saying things twice...

I am SOOOOOO excited for you! I've been praying that this would happen for you and Matt for quite some time, and I'm thankful God has answered prayers! The rest of my family is also excited and look forward to meeting your precious new one next year! I know Corynn will be such a good big sister, and I am happy that Samuel will have another close in age cousin to be his playmate! :)
