What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Rebecca, did you make that? If so, sometime I would love to see how- I saw some "boo" children in a storefront in Owego yesterday when I was walking with the little ones and thought I would love to make one for my porch. I wasn't sure if it was one of those, or Corynn at first- I see resemblances :)

Of course I did! Even if I wanted to, I couldn't afford to buy those things at the store. I won't take credit for the idea though-Wendy told me about it-it was in the last issue of Family Fun. Of course-mine is just a temporary one...not stuffed or anything. I just used two of the table legs off of that green junkie plastic table and stuffed them in some overalls. Added shoes-and on top, I put an upside down rounded plant holder-then covered it all with a sheet that you draw eyes on. Then, you just pin on a treat bag-or basket with flowers-whatever. Some are made to last for years...but mine will be disassembled after the holiday is over.

I don't know if this interests you or not-but I saw at the dollar store a pumpkin head that a ball can be put inside of-and that would make the head of a cute "boo" child too. I almost bought it then decided against it since I have plans for the other side of the door already.
