On this beautiful Sabbath day, I could think of nothing better than a stroll with the chitlins after church. Ah-but wait. There IS something better...MUCH better! That 'something' is a might bit taller than the kidlings that usually follow me around-and not quite as rambuncious as the pooch.
Matt came WITH us on our walk today!!!! I don't know if it was the blue skies, the warm sun, or being surrounded by my most favorite loves-but that walk sure did help me to realize my blessings. Is there any better way to spend a Sabbath day, I ask, than to realize the gifts our Maker has given and offer up a prayer of Thanksgiving?!? I think not...

Our whole family went on a walk after supper today as well, but it was really CHILLY! We didn't walk so long, but it was so enjoyable, having Bob with us, and just getting out in the fresh air!
