I think the cake was wonderful personally, and the bike turned out wonderful too! Believe me, I would have hopped on the few gift bandwagon if I wouldn't have already come into a family who did the opposite, but it is difficult to take away that which is a part of your family before you were even family. The best part of her gift is she isn't riding like the woman on wizard of oz anymore (although it was super super cute and made me smile!) :)
