What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Show and Tell Day 5: Baby Stripes

The end of the yellow has finally come. Today, it's all about robin's egg blue and brown.

For a recent baby shower, I made kimono pants and appliqued a mushroom on a coordinated onesie. I have never machine appliqued and feel like I need to do it some more for practice. But, for a first timer, it was fun.

I love kimono pants. While they look sort of silly just laying flat, they look pretty darn cute on-and VERY comfy. Ask me how I know:

See those pants Adele' is wearing? Well, they are the same teeny tiny size as the brown and blue ones---and she was SWIMMING in them. *sigh* ~Happy memories of scrawny babies. ~
