Since our last visit, Grandpa had worked on a special and top-secret surprise for the kids. He made them a small pond in the edge of the woods, that feeds into a spring! Now THAT is a NEAT surprise!
He knows how much Corynn enjoys frogs and salamanders and such, and certainly, Andrew is not far behind on that so you can imagine it was a big hit. It was already home to about a dozen frogs, though we didn't catch any of them upclose. we only heard their shreaks and watched as they darted into the water when we got too close.

Wow, now that is neat! It reminds me of some of my favorite childhood adventures with my siblings. :) And yes, the picture is beautiful!!!
