What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Birthday Party

It just so happened that the week we were visiting, three birthdays were in progress or ABOUT to be. On Tuesday, we celebrated Adrianna's birthday. She is my adopted sister and she is the same age as my daughter. Her birthday party was all that a four year old could wish for, and Corynn was very pleased that she got to partake in all the princessy-glory.

This is not Adrianna...though, they do look very much alike.

I laughed so hard I cried when the string pinata was out. After seemingly dozens of strings were pulled to no avail, FINALLY, one opened it up and I guess everyone was SO excited that no one realized that Corynn was getting pelted with coins and candy as Mom shook the thing right over top of her head. Don't worry-no damage was done that a good lollipop and quarter couldn't cure. But it sure was funny.

Oh yeah. And there was cake. Naturally, pink.
