What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Snow tasting

Little Miss has enthusiastically anticipated taking her first taste of snow for the season. Yesterday morning, there was enough for a little try.

I can't tell how she liked it. Maybe she couldn't either.

Yesterday was the first day I was able to french braid Corynn's hair. A day that should CERTAINLY go down in Newman Family History. For the past four years I wondered if it would EVER be possible. First her naked head, then her head full of wisps. HURRAH!

Sweet post, Rebecca... I remember learning to french braid - I sat my two year old daughter down in front of Sesame Street with a few animal crackers and got busy!
Um...that was 31 years ago...
Where in the world does the time go?

So pretty - it makes me miss my oldest daughter, whose hair I used to french braid. Now she's 22 and doesn't want it that way anymore. I agree with the above comment - where does the time go?

I love when little girls have braids. I wish I had the time to braid all my girls hair every day - but, I like it when I do!
