What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Introducing

....our newest baby!

The childer named her Maggie but I prefer Magpie. We got her over the weekend from some friends and she is a little dear and has made herself perfectly at home.

She is already spoiled.

(And yes-I totally meant to torment you all with an INTRODUCING A NEW BABY post, while not actually introducing OUR new baby. I am cruel that way. hehehe)

I must know you too well. I was not fooled by your ruse, you naughty girl. My reasoning-- too quick a postpartum post.

But if it makes you feel any better, I was expecting something you had made -- not a kitty.

Congratulations on the new arrival. (wink)

Oh my gracious Nanci, I thought the same thing! Especially when I saw a fuzzy black tip (which turned out to be an ear) under the header and post title!

Maggie's Simply Adorable :) And her timing is impeccable- the kiddos can swoon over the baby kitten while your time is a little busier with a new baby :)

Oh so cute! I love black cats, every black cat I've had over the years has always had the best temperament...not sure what that's all about. Magpie is a super sweet name...I mean Maggie. ;)
