What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

so where are the picture of your belly? :)

mine looms large on the horizon, rivaling the sun in size and glory.

(and i was going to be healthy and exercise this pregnancy, too. so much for intentions!)

Ah! I am kind of freaking out because of the whole belly thing. I shouldn't be showing yet. I am not even 10 weeks yet-but I am. I am paranoid about it because it just doesn't seem right! Especially since there is a new lady at church and she is half way done her pregnancy now-and she doesn't even LOOK pregnant. I am like-oh man. What am I going to do?

I think I am having twins. I HOPE I am having twins...at least then there would be a reason. The weird thing is-I haven't gained any weight. I just don't fit into my clothes. Last night-I cried about it. Course-I've been a crybag lately anyway.

Everyone said it would happen after the first, and, whaddya know, it did! So if it's any comfort, my body has an elephant's memory (to match its new shape) and hasn't forgotten just how big it's "supposed" to get when I'm pregnant. Too bad its timing is off...I look like I'm about 6 months pregnant! As I told my mom on the phone today, "A few days ago, I woke up to discover that my arms and legs had turned into Italian sausages (mild- not spicy)."

It's true, you know, that pregnant women are beautiful no matter what-- trim, voluptuous, or even more voluptuous than voluptuous. :) Celebrate the reason for your shape-shifting when you struggle into your now-too-skinny clothes-- a new creation lies within!

(By the way, dear friend, my bodily transformation into sausage hasn't occurred without significant weight gain. Ahem- you haven't gained any weight? Wipe those tears away! Your body's doing just what it should; it's nourishing an amazing new human inside while reshaping your outside to fit into stylish and magnificently comfortable maternity jeans! Hee hee, stylish and comfortable maternity jeans...)

Well-you did make me feel better. Though-I still think I am having twins!

Maternity jeans...Maternity jeans.
Don't quite know about those. I am thinking I might have two options here.

1) Turn to one of those all-dresses all-the-time type women, which would drive me crazy (and I like wearing dresses!)

OR

2) Become like one of those super stylish Chinese models who wear capri's with knee-high boots. It works for them-but NOT for me.

I just don't foresee me finding a pair of jeans long enough for my rather giraffe-like body! :-)
