What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Coming In

My walk complete, I headed inside. The window in the door was beautifully reflective. I do love reflections.

Then the festivities began...and the house wasn't the same after that!

Matt's favorite gift was a very sentimental one. It was a print that Linda (his mom) had found addressed to HER grandfather. A print that was over 100 years old and framed by Gary, Matt's dad. It is lovely and wonderfully meaningful.

Sounds (and looks) like you had a wonderful trip. A nice quiet walk in the woods...ALONE!! What a treat! Love the kiddos, but it's nice to get away by yourself for a few moments. What a special time to be with family. I'm looking forward to next week when hubby's pastoral duties are finished and we can travel to be with our extended family for a few days.
I'm glad you made it home safe and sound!!!
