What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Cookies

It seems everyone else in the human world is doing it, and I can't say we are out of that equation. Tis the season, afterall, for COOKIES. I must say, this is my best batch EVER made. Not one cookie got overly baked. Each one is just SUPERB. DELICIOUS. And EVIL to tempt me the way that they do. I am already regretting making them and I am shoving them down my children's throats in order to save my own hips.

Except when I inhale a few for breakfast. Like I just did.

Gulp.

Over all I was VERY impressed with the decorating skills my kidos have. Rather, how tidy they were WITH the decorating. I was especially impressed with my Panda's one year old fingers taking pinches full of sprinkles and not handfuls. That's my boy!

Of course, many of those fingerfuls landed in his mouth and not on the cookies...

but hey...He takes after his Mama.

Aww, I love these pictures, Rebecca. Corynn looks like she is working very hard and Panda's little sprinkle covered fist is precious!

Your children are quite festive in these photos, LOL!
Silly you--you don't need to sacrifice your hips. Put some of those cookies in the freezer!

YUMMY!!!
When I make chocolate chip cookies, I bake a few dozen, but the rest I scoop onto a pan (with my handy-dandy cookie sized ice cream scoop) and put them in the freezer. Once they are frozen I put them in a zip top bag and keep them frozen, that way when I...I mean the kids want cookies I just put the desired amount on a cookie sheet and bake...instant cookies!! :-)
