What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

Belated

The most exciting thing for Matt was to fianlly receive his REAL Christmas present. I ordered them way back in OCTOBER but they didn't arrive for Christmas! Because they were his ONLY gift, poor guy didn't have anything to open at Christmas except what Santa brought him in his stocking.

He has wanted these suckers for YEARS. They are mocassins made from ELK leather. They are amazing. He very nearly wore them to bed last night!

See that fringey stuff? That is the edge of the original hide. Apparently, sometimes to shoes even have the bullet holes in them! It adds character, so they say.

Merry Christmas Mattie! So glad you like them! And yeah. I know. I am the best wife ever.

And humble too.

He likes them so much, he added a whole web album to his sidebar at his blog.
So, If you want to see MORE photos of his treasured foot gear, head on over. He also has an album of his recent beer projectos. Cool.

Very cool! You can tell that he adores them. ;) I can imagine the bullet holes in the boots as my Dad has several hides that have bullet holes in them. lol!
