What you do in your house is worth as much as if you did it up in heaven for our Lord God. We should accustom ourselves to think of our position and work as sacred and well-pleasing to God, not on account of the position and work, but on account of the word and faith from which the obedience and the work flow. ~ Martin Luther

slumberbaby

Why is it that I can't stop LOOKING at him when he sleeps?

I just can't draw myself away...or my camera!

Dear boy. I am so proud of him. He is such a good, sweet little guy.

Had to sneak one more little peak before I let him rest in peace. *sigh* This is the life.

I read such a lovely story the other day -- I can't remember where -- but a man told how he was speaking to his father after the birth of his first child, trying to describe how much love he felt for the tiny baby. And his father replied "If you think you love him now, wait thirty years and see how much more you love him then."
I adore every bit of Boo, but can understand how wonderful it would be to look upon a man who is your son, someone upright and kind and loving -- how I love him as he grows!

what a great reminder. Sometimes I purposely lose sight of the long term goals we are working towards here-for our children to become adults. You're right-with that comes more time, love and devotion. Sometimes I want to cling so hard to their babyhood, especially not knowing when/if ever I may have more. But it is a good reminder, Morning, and something to really look forward to! :-)
